In Design Built Concepts Profile Kikasukan Gallery
Is a two story, two bedroom residence with 1504 square feet of interior space and more than 1000 square feet of deck. With its primary design objective being “living with the waterfalls and the creek”, all of the main living spaces are oriented towards the creek. The floor plans are fluid and informal, with rooms opening directly onto cantilevered terraces at both levels that are positioned to most vividly capture the stunning views of the creek and waterfall below – and the lake and mountains beyond.
The design is centered around the living room, with the kitchen and dining room on the one side and the two bedrooms on the other. The unique relationship between the bedrooms and the rest of the house results with them being located on separate levels but connected through a transparent stair bridge which hovers over the landscape.
